Sounds like fun. What time(s) will the canoe races start? Will there be a race at 11:45? 12 noon? my friend and I will team up and we are age 15. thanks.

The canoe races start at 10:00 and will go all day until 3:30
Go to www.nccjackson.com and print out a sign up brochure. Since you are 15 make sure your parent signs the waiver on the back.

Hi there. I'll be working at the Security Ballew booth and am really looking forward to the festival. My son and a friend of his will participate in the canoe races. You should receive their entry forms and fees in the mail this week. They are both very good swimmers, but I was wondering, will life jackets be supplied for the canoe racers? Thank you.

yes, life jackets will be provided. If you get your registration back for any reason, either bring it the day of the race, or resend it.

How long are the canoe races? Is it normally two people per canoe, or can one person go by themselves? Are there limits on the ages?

the canoes will be 2 per canoe. If you don't have a partner, come anyways and we can probably pair you up with someone.
There are not really age limits, however if children are under 18, they will HAVE to have a parent sign the waiver.
